1. Stand with your heel completely against the wall.

2. Place the box (or another object with a straight edge) in front of your foot so that it’s touching your big toe.

3. Put your full weight on your foot.

4. Hold the box and lift the foot so that the box does not move.

5. Measure the distance from the box to the edge of the paper. Please note, measure perpendicular to the short side of the paper!

   
   Don’t forget to add an additional 0.5 - 1 cm (0.2 - 0.39 in) to give your feet the natural space they need. In healthy shoes, the foot works naturally and dynamically. Don't be afraid if your shoe is about 1 cm "bigger" - that's alright.
